Our aim is to promote primary mental health care and improve mental health services across Wales.

We want to do this by bringing people with a real interest in primary health care mental health, including mental health practitioners and professionals, agencies and organisations, and carers, service users and their friends and family, together.

We also want to develop new ways of thinking about and working with mental health problems in primary care settings by discussing mental health issues through our Practitioners Network and open calendar of Conferences and Events & Meetings.

If you're interested in mental health problems within Wales please visit our Gold Standards and Declaration section, where you can Sign Up To Our Declaration and Pledge To Take Action by filling in one of our online forms.

Alternatively, if you want to become more actively involved in mental health care issues please visit our Members section or, if you already work within primary care mental health, we have annual Bursaries available.

To find out more about mental health care in general please visit our Links and Publications sections which contain information about the many other mental health associations, agencies, organisations and services available to you in Wales.

If there is anything contained within this site which you do not understand please refer to our Glossary of Terms for an explanation or outline your query in our online Feedback form and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
